Thank you, Alyson and Jorunn. My hair is about 1/4 to 1/3 silver. Cameras change colours, still photos and videos, making my hair colour look warmer and more saturated than it is. And darker! Clothing almost always the same, darker and more saturated, with accuracy in other ways depending on the camera and the colour. My hair is not nearly as dark as the podcast picture or as warm as the YouTube videos. Jorunn sees me on Zoom every week and I think even she would be surprised by the actual colour. Unless one is a camera expert with a lot of time and editing tools, I’m pretty sure the only way to know a colour or what a person really looks like is to be in the room with them.
