About me
I was 16 when I first decided I wanted to be a colour analyst. It took nearly 30 years for this dream to become a wonderful reality! And what a joy it is! I am passionate about helping women realise that they are beautiful at every stage of life. After training with Christine Scaman at 12 Blueprints, I ran Bloom Personal Colour Analysis in Eastern Canada for 5 years. Having moved back to the U.K. in 2025 and completed further Colour training with Anna Lazarska at Perfect Mood Board, I am now excited to bring my uniquely international experience back to my home city of Sheffield, with Viva Colour
Why I do it?
I believe each person is amazing and unique, and I love seeing the infinite variety of human beings in all their shapes, sizes and skin tones. When we wear clothing that harmonises with the colours that are already there in our own features it creates a pleasing effect, much like the harmony we see in the natural world. Colour Analysis gives us a way to navigate the overwhelming number of clothing options there are in stores and helps us to become more discerning shoppers as we hone our wardrobe resulting in one that is truly ‘us’.
Colour journey
I have always loved clothes and colour, and despite being quite adventurous in my tastes, I haven’t always got it right. I lost confidence in my appearance through my hair going grey in my thirties. It really made me feel like I had ‘disappeared’. I enjoyed the creativity of clothing and yet I didn’t know how to express to others who I was inside. Colour analysis helped me to see the real me was still in there. As a result I am passionate about helping people realise that they are uniquely beautiful even as they age and understand that they don’t have to change their appearance, but to simply wear clothes that harmonise with the colours that are already there in their skin, hair and eyes. This enables their inner beauty to shine through for all to see.
